Gülümser, a 53-year-old woman living alone, opens her story by welcoming others into her home free of charge. Her aim is not only to provide shelter for a few days but also to foster mutual understanding, communication, and the exploration of diverse cultures. This documentary showcases Gülümser’s life and how she shares her home with guests from around the world, emphasizing the idea of ‘the unity of our differences.’ Despite our varied backgrounds, we all carry shared hopes and dreams. The documentary reminds viewers that the differences between people create a richer, more meaningful world when brought together. It invites audiences into Gülümser’s world—a world filled with tolerance, acceptance, and love.
